Staged in 2014, A Night of Amiri Baraka was conceived and produced by Chrysalis Staging of which I am artistic director. The combination of poet, play, and community leader combined on stage seemed a fitting concept to tackle Baraka’s complicated legacy.

The Dutchman was directed by the amazing Connie Norwood.
